For those of you that don’t know me, my name is Calie, I’m the mind and hype woman behind Calie Brianna Boudoir. Besides posting my boudoir photography work, I’m really hoping to kick every blog post I write off with a little tid bit about myself, or something that is going on in the studio. Why not make things a little more personable so you can get to know me a bit better?

Halloween is my second favourite holiday. I absolutely adore horror and scary movies and have since a very young age, I have my other brother to thank for that (he too is a fanatic). Some of my favourite scary movies to rewatch year after year are Scream, The Conjuring, The Cabin in the Woods, and the Lost Boys. I do love a good slasher movie and anything with a surprise at the end. Since I love scary movies so much it makes sense that halloween would be a favourite holiday of mine (it’s a holiday, don’t fight me on this). Getting to wear a costume has always been super exciting to me ever since I was a little kid, what’s not to love about playing dress up and eating all the candy that you want.

Flash back to a fun shoot I had the pleasure of photographing back in 2022. Miss M wanted her whole boudoir shoot to be vampire themed with a fantastic idea of having a blood bath at the end. Transforming the ethereal allure of vampires into a captivating visual narrative, this shoot immersed Miss M into the dark and sensual world of the supernatural. Each image tells a hypnotic story of mythical beings indulging in a blood-soaked rendezvous. I loved being able to bring this haunting vision to life.
